Post Concert Feedback 14 July

Hi

Firstly an apology for the awkward and uncomfortable seating arrangements. The staging was great as a platform for singing but if we use it again we will provide better more accessible seating for you when not singing.

Many thanks for coping with that and the temperature in such a professional way. I will raise the question of a summer uniform with the committee but we will need to have uniformity and consistency should we adopt one.

Now for the important message - you were fantastic and delivered brilliant concert performances. The feedback was amazing - I hope that members of the audience spoke to you as they did me. You should be hugely proud of your achievements - I’ll give you more positive details on Tuesday.

Please bring all of the music you currently have issued to you on Tuesday.

Have a well deserved rest today if you can!

Huge thanks as ever to Sue and also to Pedro, Peter and Mike.

Best wishes

Eddie

Extra notes 08/06

 Dear all

I hope there aren’t too many sore heads after yesterday’s victory. Just as well the semi is on Wednesday as I’m looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday evening for our last rehearsal before the concert.

If your name is on the seating plan for Saturday but you cannot sing or are planning to sing but you don’t appear on it can please let me know before Tuesday’s rehearsal so that I can make any necessary changes. Tuesday evening is forecast t be somewhat cooler than the last couple of days but please make sure you wear cool clothing and have water with you.

Best wishes

Eddie

NOTES WEEK COMMENCING 26/06/18

Dear All

I have to say that you excelled yourselves on Tuesday evening. Your singing was first rate and the overall sound of the four pieces was impressive - they will be stunning at the concert. I spoke with Clive Smith yesterday and he assures me that he will have the ladies matching you by the concert - they began working after we left the other evening. Singing with another choir has reinforced to me my awareness the high standard to which you perform - well done!

The way in which you conducted yourselves was also impressive - every bit a professional choir yet open, friendly and engaging with the Swift singers.

I came away swollen with pride and admiration for you.

As nest week is also a joint rehearsal we ill then have on one further rehearsal to go through our eight individual items of the programme. They are all up to concert standard but can I ask that you give as much time as you can working on these pieces over the next two weeks.

I have had to revise the seating plan for the bass section to fit the staging we will be using and because the list of singers  I was provided with was incorrect - can you all check the seating plan on the website and let me know if you're included but not singing or intending to sing but missing off the plan. A revised bass section plan will appear shortly on the website.

See you all on Tuesday - have a good weekend.

Regards

Eddie
